Chukyo University

In 1954, Chukyo University started as single-department college having only the school of Commerce. Now Chukyo University has grown into a university having two campuses with 11 undergraduate schools and 10 postgraduate ones. What is very special to us among others is that we have world-class sports facilities and have fostered a number of Olympians so far.

We have challenged to meet the demands of the society and adapt social changes since our founding. Our energy comes from the philosophy of its founder: "Chukyo University should be a center of excellence in both learning and sports." In addition, we are proud of having the Four Principles advocated by the founder: "Follow the rules, do our best, encourage teamwork and respect others". 

We are aiming to attain our further development by enhancing education and research, promoting social cooperation and responding to the globalization by fulfilling our 10-year long future plan "NEXT10" we adopted on the 60th anniversary of its establishment.
