Fu Jen Catholic University

Fu Jen Catholic University is an academic community of students and teachers closely associated in fostering the growth of the whole person, on the basis of Truth, Goodness, Beauty, and Holiness. Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU) is a private comprehensive university founded by the Benedictines at the request of the Holy See in Beijing in 1926, and was re-established in 1961 in Taiwan with the joint efforts of the Society of Jesus, Society of Divine Word and the Regional Bishops’ Conference.
