HanDong Global University

Based in Pohang, South Korea, HanDong Global University is a private Christian institution. Applicants will be assessed on three factors: previous academic performance, proficiency in English and an interview. All faculty must be professing Christians and sign up to the university’s Statement of Faith, while students are expected to attend chapel and undergo compulsory leadership training.

Academic grants and scholarships are available for international students from developing countries or poorer socio-economic backgrounds. International students from other locations can also apply for full or partial scholarship grants. There are also financial aid and scholarship options available for local Korean students, offered through the Handong Development Foundation.

Approximately 5,000 students from over 30 countries study at the university. Academic programs at undergraduate level are organised into 12 schools including: Management and Economics, Law, Life Science, and Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
