About
The Bachelor of Commerce and Management (BCM) program provides specialized education in the fields of economics, accounting, and finance, and cultivates essential and a wide-range of skills for deep intellectual engagement through one’s life. SBA has a strong focus on a seminar-based education, and every student is expected to attend a seminar on weekly basis, which a very important part of the undergraduate education program. Students’ seminar participation enriches their learning experience as they receive focused, attentive educational guidance throughout four years of academic terms. This educational style is a distinctive Hitotsubashi tradition that has been practiced for over 100 years.
Hitotusbashi students have various opportunities to engage in co-curricular and extracurricular activities with experts and professionals from the real world. Numerous classes feature guest speakers from the industry, and the Faculty also offers lecture courses sponsored by external partners.
