Keimyung University

A private university based in Daegu, South Korea, Keimyung University was initially founded in 1954 as a Christian university. Home to approximately 27,000 students, it offers an extensive range of academic programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The university is split across three campuses: Daemyeong (near the downtown area), Seongseo, (to the west of the city) and Dongsan campus (home to Dongsan Medical Center). The medical center consists of a medical school and two hospitals and dates back to 1899 when an American missionary started a hospital on the site.
Other notable buildings on campus include two dormitories, a library, museum and the Edward Adams Hall of Worship and Praise, built to honor missionary Edward Adams, one of the founders of the university. The university is also home to an honors college offering English-language teaching and Keimyung-Chopin Music Academy which offers music instruction by Polish professors from the F. Chopin Academy of Music.
