Moscow State Linguistic University

MSLU trains postgraduate students in 9 fields of study (21 doctoral programs) and postdoctoral students in 13 scientific disciplines.

MSLU has six degree-awarding dissertation boards which accept theses for defense of doctoral and postdoctoral degrees ( the Candidate of Sciences and the Doctor of Sciences and):

1. D 212.135.01 Dissertation Board awards advanced degrees in Germanic Languages (Academic Discipline Code 10.02.04) and Romance Languages (Code 10.02.05).

2. D 212.135.02 Dissertation Board awards advanced degrees in Theory of Language (Code 10.02.19), Comparative-Historical Linguistics and Comparative-Typological Linguistics (Code 10.02.20) and Applied and Mathematical Linguistics (Code 10.02.21).

3. D 212.135.03 Dissertation Board awards advanced degrees in General Pedagogy, History of General Pedagogy and Education (Code 13.00.01) and Education Theory and Methodology (Code 13.00.02)

4. D 212.135.06 Dissertation Board awards advanced degrees in the Russian Language (Code 10.02.01) and Educational Psychology (Code 19.00.07).

5. D212.135.07 Dissertation Board awards advanced degrees in Social Philosophy  (Code 09.00.11) and Theory and History of Culture  (Code 24.00.01)

6. D 212.135.08 Dissertation Board awards advanced degrees in Social Structure, Social Institutions and Processes (Code 22.00.04) and Political Issues in International Relations, Global and Regional Development (Code 23.00.04).
