The National University of Ostroh Academy

The National University of Ostroh Academy is the successor of Ostroh Slavic, Greek and Latin Academy, the first higher educational establishment of the Eastern Slavs. It was founded in 1576.The NUOA is a higher educational institution licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine. The University offers an excellent setting, combining rigorous training with a rich cultural atmosphere which helps students gain greater understanding of Ukrainian history and culture. Teaching and research in the National University of Ostroh Academy is organised by Colleges. There are five Colleges and I.
