NKUHT, National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism

Founded in 1995, National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT), is the only public university in Taiwan that has a distinguished reputation for hospitality and tourism education.
Located in Kaohsiung City in the Xiaogang District, the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism has consistently endeavored to pursue excellence in teaching and vocational research for over ten years.

Its wide range of degree programs include associate bachelor’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and doctoral degrees in the following schools: 

School of Hospitality Management
School of Tourism
School of Culinary Arts
International College

In addition to the training of culinary, hospitality service and tourism techniques, the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism emphasizes its degree programs integration with internships, skill competition championships as well as prestige chef demonstrations. It is also the only school in Taiwan that collaborates with Le Cordon Bleu London.

Most of the degree programs at National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism are taught in Mandarin. However, there are several English-taught programs, including the International Bachelor’s Program in Tourism Management, International Bachelor’s Program in Culinary Arts, The International Master’s Program of Tourism and Hospitality, and most courses in the department of Applied English. In the department of Applied Japanese, some course are taught by Japanese.
