Sriwijaya University

The Sriwijaya University is an institution with great reputation, which was awarded by the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education with the "Very Good (A)" title. Sriwijaya University is a large institution with an enrollment range of 25,000-29,999 students.

The most important aspect on which the development of the Sriwijaya University was based on the importance of carrying out the education development in accordance with the needs of national development.It is important to mention that the institution is one of the most important major state universities in Indonesia. Its initial campus is located in Palembang, the capital of South Sumatera Province, and the second campus is located in Indralaya.

The history of the institution wasn't a simple one, especially if considering the difficult environment of education in South Sumatra. With perseverance and ambition, the efforts of community leaders managed to start the project that would become the Sriwijaya University.
