Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas

Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) is a private, comprehensive, research university in Lima, Perú. It was founded on January 5, 1994 and currently offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business, Engineering, Communications, Architecture, Health Sciences, Psychology, Law, Economics, Education, Design, Hospitality and Tourism, Contemporary Arts, and Translation & Interpretation.
UPC is licensed by SUNEDU and is the first and only Peruvian university institutionally accredited by WASC, one of the six Regional Accreditation Agencies in the United States, and the only university institutionally accredited in Peru by the National Accrediting Agency - SINEACE. Additionally, it is the only University in the world with all of its academic, administrative and support processes ISO 9001:2015 certified by Lloyd’s Register.

UPC is currently ranked 3rd in Peru (THE Latam Ranking) and is the #1 University Under Fifty in the country. It is also rated as the most international university in Peru (America Economia 2014-18), top three among private research universities, and the #1 university in Medicine based on the results of its graduating class in the National Medical Examination 2017.
