Founded in 1917 on a rich tradition of business success and leadership, the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business offers an experiential learning environment for students. As just one example, the school is home to the Student Investment Fund, which has outperformed the S&P 500 since the fund’s inception in 1999. The Fund delivers hands-on investment experience to an accomplished cohort of the school’s top juniors and seniors. The Eccles School provides students with learning opportunities in eight undergraduate majors, four MBAs, five other graduate programs, a Ph.D. program, and a renowned executive education curriculum. The accomplished faculty at the Eccles School contribute substantially each year to business research, placing us in the top 15 of public research institutions for business. We are consistently one of the top schools in the nation for startup businesses based on university research. The David Eccles School of Business is home to nine institutes and centers that deliver academic research and support an ecosystem of entrepreneurship, technology and innovation here in Utah.
