Internationalisation strategy of Azerbaijan University of Languages is to reinforce university's scientific, cultural links, encourage the exchange of students, researchers and administrative staff, develope joint or double degrees, take part in research programs and networks.

Every year AUL welcomes international students from different countries and cultures, mostly from Turkey, Korea, Russia, Europe and the USA. International students visit AUL within full degree, exchange and summer school programs.

AUL encourages the integration of every student and draws a particular attention to International students. Students take active part in academic, cultural and other initiatives.

Students’ academic results are mostly enough sufficient, with avarege of 95 %. They participate in scientific conferences, work on academic researches with scientific bodies along with AUL.

An Undergraduate student from European University of Viadrina, Germany did very wide research on «Azerbaijani dialects » by travelling several regions of Azerbaijan.

Other full degree PhD student from Charles University in Prague, CzechRepublic participated in «Baku International Humanitarian Forum 2014 » representing her sophisticated research work on hidden corner and shining ornament of Azerbaijan, Lahij.

American student with Azerbaijani background after participating in summer program decided to start wide research on Azerbaijani music, she came back twice to Azerbaijan to
