Kostanay State Pedagogical University (KSPU) was established in 1939 and thus belongs to one of the oldest higher education institutions in Kazakhstan.
It is located in the city of Kostanay, in the northern part of Kazakhstan.

As the title indicates, Kostanay State Pedagogical University focuses on professional preparation of future teachers. Consisting of six faculties, Kostanay State Pedagogical University offers various study programmes at bachelor´s and master´s levels. Students may experience a wide range of traditional as well as newly-designed courses that meet current requirements for teacher training. Kostanay State Pedagogical University. Some study programmes may be offered within the framework of distance learning.

Kostanay State Pedagogical University meets the requirements of “trilingual education” and offers courses in the English, Kazakh and Russian languages. As a member of the European Higher Education Area and a signatory of the Bologna Accord, Kostanay State Pedagogical University fully accepts the Bologna principles, supports academic mobility of staff and students by recognising credit mobility and the European Credit Transfer System.

Cooperation with home and international partner universities is an inseparable part of the educational and scientific work of KSPU. Research activities are considered a priority; KSPU has a direct contact with leading higher education institutions in Kazakhstan, Russia, Cyprus, China, France, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, USA and others.
