Lipetsk State Technical University

The implementation of business ideas of students, post-graduate students, young scientists and their subsequent employment in business structures of the Lipetsk region was the goal of creating the Youth business incubator at the LSTU in 2013.

Masters and graduate students of LSTU become the winners and prize-winners of engineering competitions.

The project on digitalization of urban heating networks of the LSTU Energoactive team won the interactive session of Youth Day of the Russian Energy Week in Moscow (October 5, 2019).

Associate Professor Anton Butin and Professor Margarita Goncharova are laureates of the 20th All-Russian contest “Engineer of the Year 2019”.

In the professional training of workforce and their subsequent employment Lipetsk State Technical University cooperates both with high-tech and dynamically developing enterprises and regional executive bodies: Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Innovations and Industrial Policy, Department on the Development of Small and Medium-sized Business, Department of Education and Science, the Administration of the Lipetsk region. 

Since its foundation, Lipetsk State Technical University provides a powerful contribution to the development of the industry and science of the Central Chernozem region and Russia, preserving traditions and supporting the fundamental concept of its development consisting in training competitive workforce for specific industries of the national economy. More than 40,000 University graduates work in the Russian industry, state and municipal executive and legislative bodies, business communities – such is the result of years-long fruitful work of LSTU on training highly qualified specialists.
