Over the last 40 years, Tisch School of the Arts at New York University has earned international recognition as one of the eminent centers for professional training in the performing and media arts. In 2007, New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia opened in Singapore.
Tisch School of the Arts Asia is NYU's first international campus. Already, students from 21 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, Uganda, the West Indies, and the United States, now study at our campus.
Students admitted to Tisch School of the Arts Asia earn a Master of Fine Arts degree from NYU in one of the following areas: Animation and Digital Arts, Dramatic Writing, Film, and International Media Producing.
The curriculum has been developed in New York, and students in Singapore can expect the same standard of excellence in terms of content, experience and facilities.
Oliver Stone, the Academy Award winning filmmaker and alumnus, serves as the artistic director for the school. The school boasts a faculty of prominent working artists, mostly from New York. All have strong connections to the industry.
