The latest addition to TUM Asia’s programmes is the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, which operate in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Technology. All TUM Asia’s master programmes are full-time programmes and conduct in English. The class size is limited to 30 students per Master programme and the academic year usually starts in early August. Classes are conducted on a modular basis and student needs to complete an internship programme and submit a Master thesis to meet the graduation requirements. Depending on programme, the teaching staff are carefully selected from mainly TUM, NUS and /or NTU and the industry respectively. Since its inception, TUM Asia has produced over 300 graduates. Our students come from India, China, ASEAN countries and European countries. In Singapore, TUM Asia's graduates are working with corporate leaders such as BASF, Broadcom, Degussa Construction Chemicals, Glaxo Wellcome, Infineon, Novartis, Siemens, Sued-Chemie, Sumitomo Bakelites Singapore, Schering, Texas Instruments, Wacker, ST Aerospace, Eurocopter, Pratt & Whitney, D B Schenker and Shell, amongst others.
