Université d'Orléans

The University of Orleans is characterised by its multidisciplinary nature. It has 3 UFR Collegium, 1 University School Engineers (Polytech Orleans), 4 university institutes of technology, 1 ESPE Loire Valley and the Observatory of Earth Sciences Centre (OSUC).

Nearly 16 000 students including more than 2000 foreign students attending the university sites.

The wooded campus of Orleans, a hundred hectares, is located 100 km from Paris, the capital of the central region, in the heart of the Loire Valley, territory registered in the UNESCO heritage and its castles.

The University of Orleans has also developed on other sites in the region with the installation of the university centers of Bourges, Chartres, Châteauroux / Issoudun and the antennas of the ESPE in Blois and Tours.
